2s/3s/4s Coed A/BB Sand Volleyball @ DWP

Note: this meetup is for high level players that is A or BB level.

C – Beginners with little to no understanding of the game. No developed volleyball skills.
B – Basic understanding of the game and rules. Some developed volleyball skills, such as passing and serving.
BB – Solid knowledge of the game and rules. ...
A – Excellent knowledge of the game and rules.

I don't like it, but I have needed to ask some folks to step off the courts that are not consistent "BB players or better," so pleeeease be honest with yourself.

The following rules and guidelines have been put in place to help schedule organized events that help match player skill levels and minimize no-shows and late bailers.

Again, this event is for experienced A and BB Players...
If you arrive and realize you are not a good fit, DO NOT PLAY. Strong players know the game well and will move on the court accordingly. Weaker and inexperienced players can make the game dangerous and will lower the fun for other players wanting competitive play. No Bueno!

No attitudes. Play hard, but play nice.

As a courtesy to those signing up -- ONLY those signed up should come.

No-Shows and Late Bailouts hurt the group and can get you banned.

Rules

The Rules that we will be playing by are:

1. No open-handed passing of serves
2. No carries (that includes finger pad dinks or "indoor dinks")
3. No hand setting over the net under any circumstance.
4. No double contacts (a player contacts the ball twice in succession or the ball contacts except in a single attempt on the first ball over).
5. No nets.
6. Sets are called a bit loosely for normal outdoor volleyball, but that being said, no doubles or carries are allowed.
7. Servers adjust so opposing players can see you and the ball clearly.

Feel free to ask those on the court if you can have some extra leniency in order to practice your hand-setting skills.
