Greetings Everyone - Join us this Sunday for the famous Te Henga Walkway from Constable Road Muriwai to Tirikohua Point, followed by the Gannet Colony Walk.
● Some words to Inspire you:
The Te Henga Walkway, recently reopened, offers one of Auckland’s most stunning coastal hikes, stretching from Muriwai to Tirikohua Point. The trail follows rugged cliffs, windswept dunes, and rolling farmland, showcasing breathtaking views of the Tasman Sea.
As you walk, you’ll encounter native bush, seabirds soaring above, and the sound of crashing waves below. The track features steep climbs and descents, making it a moderate challenge, but the rewarding vistas make every step worthwhile.
Spring and summer bring wildflowers and clear skies, while the winter months offer dramatic, misty landscapes.
The reopening of this trail is a welcome return for nature lovers, providing a perfect escape into Auckland’s wild west coast beauty. The Te Henga Walkway is a must-do.
