Checking our assumptions is a standalone AR skills that radically transforms the quality and depth of our relationships, if used skillfully. Assumptions are something that all humans make, and are pretty much unavoidable. The practice of checking our assumptions brings the ownership of making them back to ourselves, and gives us space to explore and be curious about if they are true for other people. It also gives those we are related to the opportunity to express their truth, and clarify the assumption. This simple practice has made a profound impact on my own life and relationships.
