Comedic in tone, yet dramatic in action, the play tells the story of the Plantagenet family, who are locked in a free-for-all of competing ambitions to inherit a kingdom. Winner of an Academy Award for Best Screenplay in 1968, the film adaptation featured Katharine Hepburn and Peter O’Toole. [General Audiences]
