Denver Parade of Lights - A Free Event!

Details

Join us for a night of holiday magic in Downtown Denver. Last year was so much fun and we had a perfect viewing spot! This parade features over 40 floats, balloons, marching bands, equestrian units, cultural displays, and special guest appearances from Major Waddles the penguin and Santa. Here's more info about the parade https://www.winterindenver.com/parade

Meet the group on the corner of 17th and Tremont across the street from the Brown Palace Hotel and down the street from La Loma Restaurant (see the MU map). Bring your own chair and dress for the weather.

Parking: Arrive early to secure street parking or park in a pay lot located near the Brown Palace. Feel free to research Valet Parking in the area.

Consider having dinner downtown early before the parade. I made a 3:45pm reservation for a table of 8 at La Loma located at 1801 Broadway (just a half block from our meeting place). Last year the restaurant was very busy and we had a leisurely dinner but got a slow start on getting a spot to view the parade. An early dinner allows us plenty of time to enjoy drinks and dinner before setting up our chairs! This dinner will be posted separately and you must RSVP to be included. Feel free to make your own reservation and plan your attendees off line. We will be too early for valet parking through La Loma (starts at 5pm).

See you there!
