Join a PRSP volunteer ranger to hike the park's Cemetery (Red) Trail. Learn about the agricultural and natural history of the park and the story of a prominent, formerly enslaved landowner and his family.

You will meet the ranger at PRSP Nature Center. The hike will be about 3.5 miles round trip and visits the historic Howard Chapel Cemetery. There are two "step across" creek crossings and varied terrain. Water or some form of liquid hydration is a must! Long pants / leggings and hiking boots are highly recommended.

The nature center is open from 11am to 1pm if you wish to arrive extra early at 12:30 p.m. you can check it out.
