Details

Join Chris Rurik the first Saturday of each month, rain or shine, for a bird walk around Gateway Park’s hidden beaver pond and back woods. Learn about incredible wildlife and hope for the thrill of finding a rarity. All skill levels welcome. Expect to walk 1-2 miles on uneven terrain.
Meet in the pavilion at Gateway Park. Everyone welcome, including kids!
Bring clothes for the weather and binoculars if you have them (extras available). Chris is an experienced birder and nature guide who writes about local ecology for Key Peninsula News.
Note that this is not an official TAS Walk, though many members attend! Chris leads these walks as part of his work with Key Peninsula Parks.
