From the car park we will make our way to West Stourmouth and then wind our way through various lanes and fields to Elmstone. From there we will stroll onto Preston and then make our way back through alongside the little Stour and a Nature Reserve until we return to Grove Ferry. Along the way we will hear tales of where the sea was and was not, Thanetβs only Saint and a mighty sea battle against heathen Vikings.ππΏ

Book via websiteOn the 15th December we will be strolling from Tonbridge Castle to visit the picturesque Leigh village. The walk will start at Tonbridge Castle Car Park. From the car park we will make our way past the castle and prestigious Tonbridge School. From there we will stroll through fields and woods to Leigh. On our way back we shall wander along the banks of the Medway to Tonbridge. Along the way we will hear tales of ghostly manors, an unsolved murder in 1930s Beijing and what connects Tonbridge Castle with a stray arrow in a wood in Hampshire.
