We meet at Fox Point Farms every Thursday at 7 am and hit the surrounding trails around the Encinitas Ranch. Join our Strava Club for more events!
This group welcomes runners of any levels and abilities. We slow down or go fast, depending on the group's pace.
Before the run, we like to start with a 5-minute breathwork practice to boost athletic performance and prepare your nervous system for the run. We finish the pre-run practice with setting an intention with mindBODYfulness (mindfulness + body awareness).
After the run, we spend 5 minutes for a down-regulating breathwork practice. This helps our nervous system to reset and get ready for the demands of the upcoming day.
No experience with breathwork and meditation is needed for this run event! Anyone is welcome!
About the organizer: Alla Shashkina is a human performance and endurance coach, a certified breath science practitioner, an ultra runner. Her coaching methodology involves mindfulness, bioenergetics, and breath science.
