Latin Dance Brisbane - Club 50/50

Come and join Block 7 of our Salsa and Bachata classes on Tuesdays up to and including 10 December.

Levels 2 - 3 can join us on any week of the block.

Anyone NEW to Latin dancing can join us in Level 1 on week 1 or 2. If you want to join in a later week, you would need to arrange a catch up class at our Wooloowin studio before the next Tuesday.

Gather your friends together and come and join us!

Everyone is welcome of all ages and you don't have to bring a partner as we rotate in class.

We have classes for Absolute Beginners, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

We have some great specials for this block including Ladies First Time Free in all levels!

Tuesday Timetable :

6.30pm - Salsa registration opens. Please present at the registration desk to complete registration on arrival even if you have prepaid.

Salsa social dancing until the class starts.

6.55pm - Group warm up

7pm - Salsa classes start. We teach all levels at the same time with different instructors.

8pm - Bachata registration opens. Please present at the registration desk to complete registration on arrival even if you have prepaid.

8.10pm - Bachata classes start. We teach all levels at the same time with different instructors.

Followed by Bachata and Salsa social dancing.

Check which level you are :

Level 1 – This level is perfect for newbies or those who would like to go back to basics. Suitable for first timers or those who are not familiar with, have forgotten or are not confident with the basic lead and follow technique and steps. You may need to repeat this level before moving up. It is a progressive course of 6 weeks so new Beginners are encouraged to join at the start of the Block.

Level 2 - You have adequately completed the equivalent level of the Beginner block and are ready to learn more. In this class we will concentrate on improving your basics and introduce you to some new turn patterns.

This level is ideal for those moving up from beginners, or those returning to dancing after having had a break from it. An instructor has the right to request that you move down a level if you do not dance the Beginner basics sufficiently well.

Level 2.5 – You dance well and practice good technique. You remember turn patterns and are eager to progress with the next level of cool moves. It is important that you have mastered the minimum Level 2 steps first, so an instructor has the right to request that you move down a level if you do not know them sufficiently well.

Level 3 – You practice great technique, remember a variety of more advanced turn patterns and dance them well. You have also had social dance experience and are a more confident leader or follower. An instructor has the right to request that you move down a level if you are not considered to have enough experience for Level 3.

Please note that all payments are non refundable. There are no credits and no refunds if you miss any classes.

For all levels :

You do not have to come with a partner.

Even numbers of leaders and followers are not guaranteed but we rotate regularly in class so everyone gets a chance to dance.

All participants are requested to please register and prepay prior to arrival to make it a much quicker process at the door.
