Program - Kadampa Meditation Centre CPH (meditateincopenhagen.org)The purpose of this course is to help you reduce stress, overcome problems, and increase your sense of inner peace and wellbeing. By following this course, you will discover the core principles of Buddhist thought and practice, and learn how to apply them to your busy daily life.
In this extended course, Kadam Tim will guide you through the main Buddhist views and meditations presented in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book “How to Transform Your Life.” You’ll learn how these timeless teachings are highly relevant to our modern lives and how to use them to gain more control over your mind, identify yourself and your potential correctly and to find meaning and joy in life.
Joining a class
This course is perfect for beginners and those looking to deepen their meditation practice. Each class can be attended individually or as part of the series and consists of two guided meditations and a teaching.
Most people sit on chairs, though some meditation cushions are available. No previous experience is needed and you’re welcome to “drop-in”.Doors open at 17:45. After the class you’re invited to stay for tea to enjoy a community of like-minded people.
