Capital Strings and Voices Collective is about building new paradigms in music education and performance. Our intergenerational ensembles are kept small - every voice counts, players get individual attention to help them improve fast, and we create an environment that aims to support music as a lifelong activity.

Join us on Tuesday nights in Westboro (Amica Westboro Park) from 6:30 - 8:30 to enhance your playing, have fun learning new music (classical/ jazz/ folk), and make new friends! Please let us know if you plan to come....

Violinists, Violists, Cellists, and Bass players of all ages are welcome. Orchestra (6:30 - 7:25) includes musical arrangements that suit varied levels, followed by chamber music groups (7:35 - 8:30), assigned by performance level, and coached by professional musicians.

We have performed at seniors centres, the NAC, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Ottawa Migratory Bird Day, the Buzzing Carnival, and even for cows! In both 2021 and 2022 CSVC was awarded the String Orchestra Trophy in the Kiwanis Music Festival.

There is a yearly tuition fee; some scholarships are available.
