Chilled Out Meetups is one of Leeds biggest groups organising social events for 18 to 38 year olds.
Our events include an organised walk every other week (over summer), twice monthly women-only events and a monthly food and/or hot drinks event. We also run 'one off' events from time to time, and hope to add more types of activities in future.
ORGANISERS WANTED - Our group is co-owned equally by its organisers. Most decisions are made by organizers giving unanimous approval. If you're interested in running events let us know, no matter what type of event you want to do - remember as an organiser you decide the time, place and activity.
We are fully committed to everyone feeling safe and secure at events so there will be zero tolerance for any harassment, unwanted attention or any other disrespectful behavior. This is a space without any kind of prejudice including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia etc. and this includes 'jokes' and 'memes', please take it elsewhere. We may organise women-only events - if this is a problem then this isn't the right group for you.

Let's check out Manjaros Restaurant. This restaurant comes well recommended with its unique menu serving up a mix of takeaway favourites and restaurant dishes, all with an African and Caribbean twist. The restaurant specialises in chicken but there are vegetarian options available also.

RSVPing
We will be making a reservation for this event so it's very important if you RSVP to turn up or give at least 24 hours notice you're no longer coming. Because of the type of event, and as per our rules, disruptive no-shows will be dealt with seriously.
Travel
Car: Burley Road Car Park is right across from the venue, this is a paid car park but should have plenty of spaces. There is some on street parking nearby but this might be resident permit only so be careful to avoid a fine.
Bus: The venue is on a busy route with various bus services running near it. I recommend using Moovit or Google Maps to find routes and times. Remember to aim to arrive early since the busses in Leeds are not the most reliable and often make members late.
On Foot: 20 minutes or less walk from the city centre, the University area and Burley.
Train: There's no nearby train station, both Leeds Rail Station and Burley Station are about a 20 minute walk away from the venue.
