Saturday Afternoon Coffee (Archive)

It's been a while since we've done a standard coffee event so let's get away from the insane Christmas crowds in the city centre and check out this cool little venue on Kirkstall Road. This coffee house has a minimalist, student union feel and offers hot drinks as well as a selection of food from the kitchen. The venue is well connected either by a short walk from the train station, public transport or a car park just across the road (and unlike the city centre at this time of year, you'll actually be able to find a space).

How to get here

On Foot: The venue is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the city centre train station down Kirkstall Road.
Bus: The venue is on one of the busiest bus routes in Leeds with dedicated bus lanes for speedier journeys. Various, very regular services are available including connections from the city centre. Use Moovit or Google Maps (in public transport mode) for bus times and which stops to wait at.
Car: Kirkstall Road Car Park is just across the road and has plentiful, cheap parking. Make sure you bring a charged smartphone to pay as I don't think there's a machine that accepts coins. Alternatively, Burley Road Car Park is just a few minutes walk away and has many more spaces.

Afterwards

There's a choice of bars and restaurants nearby on Kirstall Road and Burley Road. As usual, there's no set plan and we can go with demand.
