Christmas🇯🇵Japanese-Style BBQ Yakitori Party

Hello! I'm Taka, the organizer of a Japanese party aimed at sharing good food and fun experiences with everyone.

Due to popular demand, we hold monthly food-related events in Christchurch, bringing people together for a great time.

December's Event: Christmas BBQ Yakitori Gathering

Date & Time: Wednesday, December 25th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Location: AVONHEAD FLAT HOUSE (Detailed location will be sent to participants)

About 30 minutes by bus from the city, off-site parking available
Participation Fee: Adults NZD 30, Children (under 12) NZD 5
What to Bring: Your own drinks

Schedule:

12:15 PM – 12:30 PM: Arrival and registration
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Yakitori skewer-making experience
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: BBQ and social gathering
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Clean-up

Menu:

Yakitori (chicken thigh, skin, meatballs, liver, etc.)
Other side dishes
Event Objectives:

Foster community connections and welcome newcomers
Promote healthy eating with organic ingredients
Raise awareness about environmentally-conscious eating
Provide an opportunity to rediscover Japanese cuisine while living abroad
