Details

Don’t miss Michael Wolff at Klavierhaus on October 1st! He’s supported by Ben Allison on bass.

In 2015, pianist-composer Michael Wolff battled and overcame a rare cancer, supported by his sons Nat and Alex from “The Naked Brothers Band.” Today, cancer-free, Wolff’s perspective on life and music has profoundly evolved.

His latest album, “Swirl,” a radiant piano trio masterpiece with bassist Ben Allison and drummer Allan Mednard, reflects Wolff’s renewed joy for life, creating resonant music.

Wolff’s illustrious career includes collaborations with jazz greats like Cannonball Adderley and Tom Harrell, and he notably served as musical director for Arsenio Hall’s late-night show. He’s also known for his passion for blackjack, sharing insights into the game.
