Starting at The Federal Building (see photo), we'll walk around the outside and inside of the building, then walk to Morrill St. and S. Orange Ave. to explore the McCulloch Building, an example of The Sarasota School of Architecture. Walking east on Morrill St. we'll stop at the county parking lot to discuss the history and contribution to Sarasota of John H. Gillespie before continuing up Morrill. We then turn on Ohio Pl. and walk it to the end. This street probably has more buildings from the mid-1920s than any other street in Laurel Park, a mix of Mediterranean Revival and Craftsman styled bungalows. The tour continues on Oak to Osprey then down Cherry Lane to Rawls Ave. where the tour ends. The walk will be slightly over one mile.
This tour does not include Burns Court, Herald Square, most of Oak St., Laurel St. or Towles Court. Most of that is covered in Laurel Park 1.
PARKING: There is frequently two-hour parking on Ringling Blvd. There's three-hour parking on Pineapple near Ringling and you can walk about a block from there to the meet up spot.

The parking lot on the corner of Laurel St. and S. Orange is closed and is being turned into a condo. Just what Laurel Park needs.
