What we’re about
This group is looking for other E-bikers to take our E-bikes out on bike paths, roads and dirt. I’ll try to post at least two rides a week. Bike path rides are usually along a river or beach and range from 15 to 40 miles with very little elevation gain. Our city street and road rides can range from 20 to 35 miles with elevation gains from 500’ to 5000’. I pick cities to ride in that offer hills to challenge our e-bikes. There are those of us that have E-mountain bikes that are looking to take them on dirt, so I will be posting dirt rides which, for the most part, will be on fire roads (wide track). There are a lot of these roads in our open spaces and national forest which can open up new areas usually too far to hike in a day. Presently, this group will not be riding on single track dirt trails unless they are easy.

- SANTA ANA RIVER BIKE PATH & THE RIVERSIDE MISSION'S FESTIVAL OF LIGHTSNeeds location
Should this event be cancelled due to rain, I will repost it for Sunday DEC. 8th.
SANTA ANA RIVER BIKE PATH: The Santa Ana River Trail is currently 60% complete. When finished it will run 110 miles – from the San Bernardino County National Forest to the Pacific Ocean at Huntington Beach where the trail ends. We'll be riding on a completed portion of this trail in the Riverside area including a ride up to Mount Rubidoux.
MOUNT RUBIDOUX: It's a mountain just west of downtown Riverside, that has been designated a city park and landmark. The mountain was once a popular Southern California tourist destination and is still the site of the oldest outdoor non-denominational Easter Sunrise Service in the United States. Many historic markers and memorials have been placed on the mountain, the most prominent being the cross at the summit dedicated to Father Junipero Sara.
Once we complete our bike ride, we'll drive a mile to the Riverside Food Lab for dinner.RIVERSIDE FOOD LAB: As the Inland Empire’s first official food hall**,** this space successfully showcases a collection of several diverse artisanal eateries and bars that each celebrate Riverside’s distinct mix of cuisines. The food hall is located within an open air space and offers a hip, lively atmosphere alongside a seemingly endless selection of different food options to try on each visit. After diner we'll walk one block east to the Festival of Lights at The Riverside Mission Inn.
THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AT THE RIVERSIDE MISSION INN: This is one of the nation's largest holiday light collections, voted "Best Public Lights Display" by USA Today. Every year, the Inn's festival gains new energy, grows in popularity, and ushers in an increasing number of visitors to the Riverside area.
We'll make it a point to completely walk around the Mission Inn where there are more lights and then down Market St. (which the city of Riverside has decked out with lights).Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.
