Come Join us this Sunday afternoon to watch
MOUSETRAP- As news spreads of a murder in London, a group of seven strangers find themselves snowed in at a remote countryside guesthouse. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests discover – to their horror – that a killer is in their midst! One by one, the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts. Which one is the murderer? Who will be their next victim? Can you solve this world-famous mystery for yourself?

Come Join us for our 2nd Murder Mystery this month, this was suggested by our VIP member and I'm sure it'll be just as fun as the last one recommended for the MopCo Improv Comedy Show.

Join us for a delightful Italian-style Thanksgiving dinner on Friday, November 22nd at 6:00 PM. We'll gather at Delmonicos to celebrate the season with delicious food, good company, and a touch of Italian flair with family-style dishes to enjoy together.

Let's enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast with an Italian twist, featuring all your favorite dishes with a Mediterranean flair. Indulge in savory appetizers, hearty entrees, and delectable desserts.

We look forward to celebrating with you!

Every year the Magee family donates to the local shelters. Last year we donated to the homeless shelter City Mission & the DV shelters Unity House, Equinox, YWCA, & the Saratoga Shelter.
This year the founder of the Albany Travel Society wants its members to give some love to the shelters with her family and help with donations and holiday presents!

For this holiday dinner, I wanted a cozy, family-friendly gathering rather than a formal affair. We'll enjoy a long table, and inclusive dinner, and exchange gifts while sharing delicious family-style meals!
To celebrate the holidays this month, let's have a gift exchange! Please keep gifts gender-neutral and inoffensive, and avoid gag gifts. Aim for a gift value of $5 or more.

### White Elephant Gift Exchange

• How it works:

1. Each person brings a wrapped gift.
2. Everyone draws a number to determine the order of picking.
3. The first person chooses a gift and unwraps it.
4. The next person can either choose a new gift or "steal" a previously opened gift.
5. A gift can only be stolen a certain number of times (e.g., twice).
6. The game continues until everyone has a gift.

Come and volunteer as a group to help sort bottles because they are in DESPERATE NEED of help. The more volunteers the better!
I spoke to the Director and they can use all the help we can offer!

Bring your whole family including kids, this will be a great opportunity to have a fun family day at the animal shelter helping it out! You can check out the available animals after too :)

About Empties for Animals
Empties for Animals is our bottle recycling program. Corporate Groups, Community Service, and Volunteers can help by sorting bottles and cans.
In 2023 our Empties for Animals Team sorted over 2,00,000 bottles and cans totaling nearly $178,000!
The money that we raise through this program goes directly back into the animals and helps us give them the best care possible.

Opportunity Description
Empties for Animals is our bottle recycling program. Here you will sort aluminum, plastic, and glass bottles and cans into the correct receptacles. Because we pre-sort the bottles and cans before sending them to the recycling company, we earn more money for the animals!

Who can Volunteer
Corporate groups, school groups, clubs, adult volunteers, and children 10+ accompanied by a parent or guardian can help support the animals through our Empties for Animals program.

Bring any donations of empty bottles, closed-bag dry or wet food, blankets, and dog toys with you for further assistance!

At the Rotterdam Community Center, we nourish our neighbors in mind, body, and soul, and serve as a community hub where all people can connect to the resources they need.

### Join us for our free monthly movies in our

### ADA-accessible, surround sound theater!

### Doors open at 6:30 pm and showtime is at 7:15 pm.

### Free admission for all movies, although donations to support our operations are appreciated.

### Popcorn and other concession items are available for purchase.

Join us after our community service at the City Mission for a burger and fries! We're going to work up an appetite and be hungry afterward so let's go to the pub within walking distance from it and enjoy some good pub food. You can have your friends meet us there, if you'd like to bring a guest. The more the merrier!
