Everyone welcome: Hoping the 12:30PM time misses both rush hours. We tried this at 10:15AM and it was suggested that choosing a different time may be better. If you cannot attend at this time -- and are a bowler, comment in the comments so I can figure out what time works best for future events.

If there is enough interest as soon as there are 2 on the wait list, I will add a second lane. So please book early and update your attendance if your plans change and you are not able to attend.

Shoe rental: $4.50 for adults or $3.00 for 55 years or better.
Zone Bowling welcomes bowlers to picnic on the lanes. Bring your own picnic lunch or buy take out at any of the many eateries in this plaza to eat/drink during our games. Pho 99, Papa Leo’s Pizza, Big Time Chicken, Morning Tide Eatery, Tahn Door Indian Eatery, Santa Remedo Mexican Grill, Honjin Ramen, I Love Sushi or Pearl Fever Tea House – essential this plaza is your oyster. You can find something you like, or bring food from home, or choose to fast – no judgments and no obligations.

Anyone who is interested in playing or learning pickleball, this is your chance to come out and see what this new craze is all about. Never played? Give it a try...you might like it. Beginners I will explain the rules and you can just rally or play games if desired. Very low key.

No racquet?

I have 3 extra racquets. I do have 4 pickle balls we can use.

A threesome called Ask The Wind will be performing. Hopefully I can upload the poster or email to anyone who is interested.
The venue is small and cozy, lovely for taking in some good folk/blues/jazz tunes.

Please meet inside the McDonalds on University Boulevard. At Allison Road. We will take a very short bus ride to the University Golf Course, and walk from there. This walk will go ahead, rain or shine. Organizers are not magic - we cannot predict the weather or the temperature.

The Pacific Spirit Park is a large and beautiful second-growth forest park on the west side of Vancouver, next to the University of British Columbia. We can adjust the pace and length of this walk to suit the least mobile of us. If it makes sense, numbers etc, then I could accompany the mobile challenged and the more athletic could go ahead on their own. A little flexibility and patience is helpful please.
