What we’re about
We are 30+ members strong, and growing. (Most aren't in this Meetup group - we just use it to reach new people.) Join our community choir, Palmetto Peace Choir, and nurture your creative spirit, connect with others, develop your confidence and feed your soul! You'll learn musicianship, music literacy and vocal technique, and participate in concerts and outreach and community events. Auditions not required.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all, regardless of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, national origin, religion, disability or age. We will perform music that shares universal messages of peace, hope and love. Our repertoire will include folk, jazz, world, musical theatre, Americana, pop and traditional choral pieces. Reading music is not a requirement, but is a welcomed skill.
Our rehearsals are Mondays at 6:30pm at the James Island Arts and Cultural Center. Click here for details and to join: https://www.palmettoyouthchoir.com/community-choir
