What we’re about
Welcome to the Shenandoah Valley ADHD Support Community!
We are parents, adults, teens, kids, professionals, and educators who have, know of, or care for someone with ADHD. We are volunteers who serve people throughout the Shenandoah Valley on behalf of our national organization Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
Founded in 1987, CHADD offers local support groups, moderated meetings, and expert-led educational meetings throughout the U.S. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. To learn more about CHADD, please visit www.CHADD.org.
The Shenandoah Valley ADHD Support Community currently offers monthly virtual/online meetings for anyone wanting to learn more about ADHD and connect with others for support. Best of all, the meetings are NO COST and you do not have to be a member of CHADD to attend.
Meeting schedule:
Parent Support Meeting: 3rd Saturday of the month 10am-noon (excluding August and December)
Adult Support Meeting: 3rd Wednesday of the month 7-9pm (excluding August and December)
Please note, Meetup requires that all participants be at least 18 years of age. Any children present at an event must be accompanied and supervised by an adult guardian.
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
