Join us as we tackle the grueling obstacles, push through the mud, and conquer the epic Spartan race! We’ll be in this together, fueling up with good food, and celebrating our victories with a post-race hangout that’s all about camaraderie and good vibes with like minded people! Whether you're a Spartan veteran or a first-timer, this is your chance to go all out with an awesome crew!

What to Expect:
We’ll be setting up base Friday at a comfortable Airbnb nearby, perfect for an easy arrival for race day! We will enjoy a delicious dinner at the airbnb and get a good nights rest before the race the next day.
The race is on November 17th in Sacramento, CA! You’ll join the Urban Diversion squad as we face the Spartan Race head-on, tackling obstacles and getting it done!
After the race, we’ll go out for a victory dinner ($), and celebrate everyone’s Spartan spirit! This weekend will be about pushing limits, bonding with friends, and making unforgettable memories!

We'll pair our plant night with delicious wine and artisanal snacks. Immerse yourself in creativity, connect with fellow plant enthusiasts, and let the green magic begin!

What to Expect:

• Your host will guide you through the process of creating a lovely DIY terrarium.
• We'll bring our favorite plant terrarium supplies, you just show up and be prepared to get dirty! (W/ actual dirt).
• Expect plants like moss, Ivy, or pothos.
• We will also bring some small decorations/rocks/natural accessories to choose from.
• Delicious snacks spread and wine to sip as we plant
• Feeling bold? Go off script and make bring you own small plant/moss/rock/figurine to add in!
• No plant skills are required.

#### For over 10 years, Dandelion Chocolate has been turning cocoa beans and organic sugar into exquisite single-origin dark chocolate, building lasting relationships with cocoa farmers worldwide to ethically source their ingredients.

What to Expect:
At Dandelion, chocolate is simplicity at its finest—just two ingredients: cocoa beans and organic sugar. During this exclusive tour, you'll learn how their team carefully roasts and ferments cocoa beans to bring out their rich, nuanced flavors in small batches. Get ready to sample their delicious creations, from chocolate bars to rich hot chocolate and pastries crafted by their culinary team, led by pastry chef Lisa Vega.
After our sweet chocolate-filled adventure, the day continues with an optional Afternoon Tea. While not included in the event price, this elegant experience will give you the chance to unwind with a delightful selection of teas and an assortment of sweet and savory treats.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover the magic of camping on Angel Island. Whether you're a seasoned camper, or new to the world of outdoor escapades, this is a unique opportunity to disconnect from the city's chaos and reconnect with nature. Don't miss your chance to experience the serenity and camaraderie this one night trip has to offer.

What to Expect:
You'll meet your host at the ferry port with all of your backpacking/camp gear and then ride the ferry to Angel Island! Make sure to have some breakfast on the way to the port!
Once we land ashore, we will start exploring the island and make our way to our campsites. Angel Island is full of wildlife, old historical buildings, and a lot of military history for us to explore. The hike to camp is just a bit over a mile, but we can do the full perimeter loop around the island (5 miles)!
After we've had our fun, we will have some R&R before grilling up dinner. Afterwards, we'll dance and mingle the night away until we're ready to turn in. For those feeling extra adventurous, we can also take an easy 2 mile night walk to Perles Beach for a nightcap overlooking San Francisco's beautiful night city skyline. The city lights shimmering over the water creates a truly unforgettable sight.
Better yet, the Leonids Meteor Shower peak is scheduled perfectly with this weekend! Better chances of seeing shooting stars AND twinkly city lights AND everything reflected back on the water... TRIPLE the twinkly lights doesn't sound so bad to us.
Sunday morning, we'll have coffee and a yummy breakfast overlooking the gorgeous views from camp. From there, we'll break down tents, head back to the ferry port, and then ride back to the city!

Leonids Meteor shower - This will peak this weekend with 15 meteors per hour
Note: Previous camping/backpacking experience is not required for this trip. However, we do want all attendees to be physically active enough to be comfortable doing light-moderate exercise for 1+ hr, and able to walk for 2-5 miles with their backpacking packs of 25-35 pounds.

Amenities + Conditions:

• An outdoor restroom and potable water are located a short walk from camp. No showers.
• Campfires prohibited. But we will bring our propane fire ring :D
• Temperatures will likely be in the high 50's during the day and down in the low 40's at night. Your host will provide more accurate details as the event nears.

# High Canopy Redwoods Adventure -

## Walk Among the Trees

## Experience this epic 2 hour high-ropes tour of the Redwood Canopies!

Looking for high-flying, heart-pounding adventure?!
Look no further... UD has you covered!
Join us as we fly down 2 zip lines, cross suspension bridges, climb in and around 40ft high rope obstacles, and reach a height of over 80 feet above ground in just 2 hours!! This one is for all you adrenaline junkies out there, anyone looking to challenge yourself (and maybe your fear of heights), or just have some fun! One thing is for sure... it's going to be an adventure!

What to Expect: A 2 hour memorable high-ropes experience that will push you out of your comfort zone, while experiencing the beauty of the Redwoods. Climb up and around these massive trees ON YOUR OWN with safety training and harnesses, of course. You can choose to challenge yourself with the harder route or take in the beautiful scenery with the more mellow route; the day is yours to choose your own adventure! Come build a sense of teamwork & camaraderie with your fellow UD friends & family both on the course and at lunch with the group afterwards!

What's Included:

FULL MOON HIKE:
THE WAVE ORGAN and PLACE OF FINE ARTS

There's so much history in this iconic city of ours -
let's explore the historical gems that make people leave their hearts in San Francisco!

What to Expect:
An easy but scenic hike from the Aquatic Park to the Wave Organ and towards the Place of Fine Arts! We will start at the Clubhouse and then walk towards the Aquatic Park, with it's beautiful ships and a fantastic view of the Bay and Alcatraz. Walking then through Fort Mason Park where we will be able to view the Marina and the Golden Gate Bridge. We will pass by some of the architectural wonders of SF, The Palace of Fine Arts, and then hike our way to the hidden path which will lead us to The Wave Organ! After the hike we will head out to the bar to get some drinks!
What is Wave Organ?
Located on a jetty in the San Francisco Bay, the Wave Organ was built in 1986. The Wave Organ includes more than 20 pipes that extend down into the water of the Bay. When the waves roll in, the pipes resound with liquid music: low, gurgling notes that ebb and flow with the restless movement of the ocean and the changing of the tides. So.. who's ready to hear some ocean music??
Palace of Fine Arts
It's a reminder of San Francisco's past, a symbol of the city's creative spirit, and one of the most dramatic backdrops for your Instagram feed.
The Palace of Fine Arts is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1916 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. If it weren't for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the entire Marina neighborhood might never have existed.
It's an absolute must-see and especially during the Full Moon!

Every Wednesday, Bourbon Highway turns all the way up—dancing, drinks, and non-stop vibes! Want to break up the week with something extra fun? Let's hit the dance floor with for a night full of laughs, moves, and all the good times. We’ll keep it going until you’re ready to call it, or until the 9-5 calls you back in the morning! This is a beginner friendly swing dance night, and perfect for those who are new to this style of dance!

Whale watching from a secluded beach, hikes through the giant Redwood forest, gorgeous waterfalls, and wine tasting with an ocean view! It doesn't get better than this Mendocino camping getaway!

North of San Francisco, there's an amazing part of California where rugged beaches meet the towering redwoods, and idyllic artsy towns dot the coastline. Here, you'll find scenic views around every corner and vast areas of unspoiled nature perfect for peaceful outdoor exploring. There are lots of must see places, like the famous Glass Beach, MacKerricher State Park, Noyo Harbor, Jackson State Forest and many more!

Don't forget to bring your swimsuit if you dare take the Polar Plunge into the Pacific!

WHALE WATCHING
December through March is the best time to see whales along the California coast... and We are going to be hiking where we can catch a great site of them
WONDERFUL TIME AT THE BEACH
Fort Bragg is famous for its Glass beach. We will be able to enjoy its beauty and even go for a beachcombing and tide pooling afternoon! The beach is literally COVERED in naturally round seaglass. If you're not interested in the Glass beach, then you should be aware of the fact that Pomo Bluffs on Todd's point are breathtaking! Make sure you have enough space in your camera/smart phone because you will want to take lots of pictures and videos of these mesmerizing views!!
COASTAL & FOREST TRAIL HIKES
We will be taking a couple short to moderate hikes. We will be exploring the Mendocino Coast and it's hidden beaches and coastal trails. Jackson State Forest is not too far too, so we can explore the forest as well where we are likely to encounter gorgeous waterfalls, wild mushrooms, and all kinds of creatures.

SNOWGLOBE & MULLED WINE CRAFT NIGHT

The mulled wine is the only selling point I need, but the perfect gift (and the most meaningful) is always a handmade gift no matter your age!

What to Expect:

• Your host will guide you through the process of creating the best snowglobe the world has ever seen (get that tacky snowglobe image out of your head, your UD host has done their research!)
• A glass of mulled wine will be waiting for you when you arrive
• No craft skills are required.

Join Urban Diversion at the most unique hidden bar in the redwoods! The Glen Blair Bar is only accessible by hopping aboard the famous Skunk Train. In true adventure style, this one-of-a-kind bar is nestled deep in the forest, surrounded by firepits, live music, and games. You won’t find this late-night spot without a train ride and a sense of fun... or the right host to lead the way!

What to Expect:
Prepare for an unforgettable night! Hop aboard the Skunk Train and journey through the majestic redwoods to the hidden Glen Blair Bar. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by cozy firepits, live music, and a vibrant atmosphere. Sip on signature cocktails, local beer, and wine as you mingle with fellow adventurers and enjoy fun games. With heaters to keep you warm, this late-night escape is perfect for creating lasting memories in the heart of the forest!
