Spanglish Brunch: Christmas! Native-Led English & Spanish Language Exchange

Hola Friends!
Our mission is to create a welcoming community for language enthusiasts in Madrid, helping you build confidence and break through the fear of speaking a new language.

At each event, you'll find both native English and Spanish speakers, the perfect environment for real life conversations!

We’ll have some icebreakers and topic cards to kick things off, but feel free to mingle and chat about whatever comes up—no rules, just good vibes!

Our events are currently free to attend; we just ask that you support our venue by purchasing a drink or snack.

📷 By attending our events, you consent to being photographed or filmed. Photos and videos taken during the events will be shared on our social media. If you do not wish to appear in the photos, please send us a private message as soon as possible on Instagram.

Spanglish Comunidad is an event created by Calle Spanglish, led by Laura and Ylenia. Laura, a qualified English teacher from the UK, specialises in both general English and Business English. Ylenia, a certified Spanish teacher, brings over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish in London and Melbourne.

Queremos crear una comunidad súper acogedora para que te sientas cómodo practicando y ganando confianza mientras rompes el miedo a hablar en un nuevo idioma.
En cada evento habrá hablantes nativos de inglés y español, ¡el ambiente ideal para conversaciones reales y sin presión!

Tendremos actividades para romper el hielo y tarjetas con temas para inspirarte, pero la idea es relajarse, charlar y disfrutar. ¡Sin reglas, solo buen rollo!

Los eventos son gratis, solo te pedimos que apoyes al local comprando una bebida o algo para picar.

Da clases de inglés general e inglés para negocios. Ylenia es española y profesora titulada de español. Lleva más de 10 años enseñando español en Londres y Melbourne.
