Calling all fashion and comics enthusiasts! Want to try drawing with industry-standard alcohol markers? Or maybe you already have some, and have been curious about more advanced techniques like layering, blending, and matching colors from references.

In Intro to Alcohol Markers, we'll learn to draw and render with this medium that is totally different from water-based markers. Alcohol markers provide a great way to do fast layered drawings and are a favorite of fashion and comic illustrators.

This class will include a set of 12 alcohol markers and a paper pad to take home with you--a $75 value! This class is recommended for ages 12 and up.

Maxx Follis-Goodkind (she/her) was first introduced to drawing with alcohol markers in a Technical Rendering class in college. She loved the way colors could be layered without having to wait for anything to dry and the crisp lines. She's been using alcohol markers ever since and frequently brings them to sketch when she's outside the studio because of the clean setup.
