Let's get baking for the 2024 holidays with our annual cookie exchange! Come and join us for a festive potluck brunch that will put all of us in the holiday spirit. Bring along a main dish/side dish to share at brunch. Coffee, tea, and juice will be provided for the gathering. This event is for our group members ONLY and will be held at the historic Forgeman's House in Thurmont, MD.

*What to Bring:*
Dust off your best HOMEMADE recipes and bake up a batch of your favorite cookie, shortbread, scone, candy, etc. Goodies should be PACKAGED INDIVIDUALLY with 4 ITEMS or PIECES to a bag/plate/box etc. Copy the recipe to share and bring along a basket/tote to take your treats home in.

The total number of packaged items needed for the exchange will be based on how many ladies RSVP to this event. ***Notification will be sent the week before*** for the number of packaged cookies (x4) needed. Consider posting what type of cookie you intend to bake so others will know... less duplicates.

*What to Wrap:*
It wouldn't be the holidays without a little something extra to exchange. Bring along a NEW wrapped gift item for one of the ladies (not to exceed $20) for the GRINCHY GIFT of giving.

What might that be? Well do you remember the rules of white elephant exchanges? You will receive a hidden number, "number 1" goes first... picks a gift from the beautiful pile of wrapped items... opens it and we all go ahhhhh. Next "number 2" goes... and here is the GRINCHY GIFT part... they can either choose to "take" the first person's opened gift or pick a wrapped mystery gift from the pile. And the game goes on... until all gifts are opened and "given."
