Korfball Indoor Training - Notre Dame Secondary School
Details
The schools are open again and we're back on at Notre Dame. Thursday evenings we run our korfball beginner sessions aimed at beginners or those relatively new to the sport. We've got five teams in the league this year, so looking to recruit some new players into the club.
Korfball is a ball sport, with similarities to netball and basketball. It is played by two teams of eight players with four female players and four male players in each team. The objective is to throw a ball into a netless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m (11.5 feet) high pole, with girls marking girls and boys marking boys. Each player is then in a duel with an opponent of the same sex and must use their speed, agility, and skill to break free to shoot and score. This creates a fun, fast, dynamic game.

What is required so I can attend?
You just need to turn up, and be wearing a sensible sportswear (a pair of sturdy sports trainers e.g., basketball shoes, general trainers, shorts, sports top etc). That's basically it - bring a friend or two if you wish as well; the more the merrier and all that.
Important information
The games hall at Notre Dame is located to the left of the main school entrance as you face the school. Turn left and go down the stairs and you can't miss us.
