The Two Lairgs

## Details
Join me for a circiular walk around Stob Coire Raineach ("peak of the corrie of bracken" for those who wish to learn some gaelic). Whilst this walk goes among some wild hills this remains at a relatively low level and should hopefully not be affected by harsh early spring conditions.
Meeting point: Làirig Èilde Car Park, Ballachulish PH49 4HX
https://maps.app.goo.gl/yxKXvGsZphjpiYPb8
Meeting time: 10:00am
Distance: ~ 9.25 miles
Ascent: ~ 573m
Duration: 5-6 hours
Terrain: Both Lairigs have generally good hill paths. There are several unbridged burn crossings which can be impassable in spate. The far end of the Lairig Gartain is boggy, and the return walk on the old Military Road in Glen Coe is extremely boggy and waterlogged.
By Car: Free parking is available the Làirig Èilde Car Park. I will be driving from Glasgow west end and can fit some people in my car (message or comment for details)
Public transport:
There is a bus that runs from Hillhead to Glencoe ski center and leaves at 06:49am and arrives at 08:54 am although there is quite a walk from this stop so this walk may not be suitable via public transport.
I've decided to increase the guest list for this event to 15 people.
This is a strenuous walk that is suitable for those with good fitness. Can be muddy very boggy in places. Please wear suitable walking boots and bring your full waterproofs. Please also make sure that you have pleanty of food and water on you.
