My organizers and I will be leading a hike to Mission Point, via the Dr. Mario De Campos trail (Neon way)in the Granada Hills area (San Fernando Valley.)This out and back hike is approximately 4.5 miles long. It is a challenging route and is intended for advanced hikers due to the 1,227 foot elevation gain. We do not recommend beginning or unexperienced hikers attending this hike (there will be beginner/moderate hikes in 2025.) The first two miles are quite steep. We will be limiting the amount of attendees to 30 so my team and I can safely keep track of the hikers and not overcrowd the trail. We will hike as a group and leave no one behind. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. When parking, do not leave any valuables or anything in plain site in your vehicle. Unfortunately, there has been car burglaries in the area.
