Friends of Merstham Parks & Greens: volunteer tree planting morning

Volunteer morning (all welcome!)
TIME: Sat 30th Nov 10-1pm
MEET: Playground of Brook Road open space, Malmstone Ave, Merstham, Redhill RH1 3ND - any problems give me a call - 07913 148821

Come and join us planting 20 native trees provided by Surrey Council as part of their 1.2m tree planting strategy. They're to add a short avenue of trees at each end along the path, increase trees bordering the playground - for more shade, and some in the low section for interest and dry it out a little.

Free refreshments provided at half time.

All welcome, no experience or equipment required, everything explained, just need appropriate clothing for the weather. Children very welcome with a supervising guardian adult accompanying them.

Kids Activities
We now always have fun simple kids activities with us eg pebble painting, clay model insects etc making, leaf rubbing & more.

Come and enjoy the outdoors, chat, beautify the greenspace, and 'green gym' exercise!
