> Teacher Bio
I am a Software Professional and a certified yoga teacher. I was fortunate to get introduced to yoga when I was 12 years old back in India and I got my first certification in Hatha yoga in 2012. After moving to the United States in 2015, I got introduced to Vinyasa yoga. Given the sedentary nature of my desk job, I found the dynamic aspect of vinyasa energizing. It strengthened my overall yoga practice which inspired me to get certified in Power Yoga (Vinyasa flow) from Corepower yoga in 2023.
Apart from the asana portion of yoga, I have a deep interest in the philosophical and spiritual aspect of it. Being a long-time student and practitioner of ashtanga yoga philosophy, I have immensely benefited from it. It is my earnest desire to share this wealth of knowledge for the well-being of others.> Class Description

In this all-levels, 45-minute class we will use the finer points of each pose and the transitions between those poses to create space in our bodies and as opportunities for focus and mindfulness. Somewhere between a restorative practice and a fast-moving flow, this class will
incorporate standing poses, balancing, and short sequences but will be rooted in seated and reclined poses, breath awareness, and guided meditation.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds. - IN PERSON: Donation-Based Gentle Flow Yoga With AileenHeal One World, Los Angeles, CA
Teacher Bio:
My yoga journery started in 2019 and since practicing, what I’ve learned is that there is a limitless potential for growth that this practice continuously has to offer. Yoga has been fundamental in my healing journey and my wish it to pass on this learned healing to others so that they may find as much peace and comfort on their mats as I do. I create an empowering space for one to feel free to express their intention with compassion, patience, and joy. I’m excited to join this community of healers and I can’t wait to meet you on the mat!Class Description:
This class is designed to introduce a gentle breath-to-movement sequence to yogis of all levels. It incorporates mindful movements, breathwork, and music to restore inner peace and balance while remaining present in each moment. In this series, there are times when we will move one breath to movement and times when we land in a posture and hold for multiple breaths. Our goal is to listen to our bodies and take whatever movement is calling to us.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds. This is a practice based on buddhist meditation, developed by an Indonesian dance artist Prapto Suryodarmo. He remarked that we are like monkeys, monk with the key. What he meant was through movement, we are also meditating, and the practice of meditation can be more alive and fun. Please join me in exploring our bodies in motion, and the emotions, memories, and ideas that are moving with us.
