This class blends Vinyasa Yoga with Restorative yoga. The first half of the class is dedicated to Vinyasa Yoga and the second half is dedicated to a Restorative yoga practice.
Vinyasa yoga is an energetic yoga flow that incorporates movement with breath. Each movement and posture will build strength and ease in the body.
Restorative Yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, stillness, and gentle breathing. This class allows the mind and body to slow down. Restorative yoga is known for its reliance on props such as bolsters, blocks, or folded blankets to make poses gentler and more supportive. In general, you can expect to hold poses in restorative yoga for a minimum of 5 minutes.
