Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare professional, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation.

The location has changed to Lake Elkhorn. Now there are three different meeting locations for all three chapters in Howard County to add variety.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The meeting location is at the Lakeview Office Park, not the Lake Elkhorn Parking lot. This is because the lot is small and fills up quickly, which makes it difficult to meet there as a group. From the Lakeview office parking lot Patuxent Branch Trail goes under Broken Land Parkway and connects with the Lake Elkhorn Loop.

Property management at Lakeview has granted me special permission to meet here for this event. If you park here for this event, you MUST display the printed parking pass that I provide at the event visibly in your windshield while on the walk. This is to prevent your car from getting towed but also to discourage other people from using the area without permission. I will collect the passes after the walk is over to be used for the next walk.
