12/14 - New Horizons Band Holiday Concert - Naperville

Betty J., an INDY50+ member and flutist in the orchestra, invites everyone to the New Horizons Band 2024 Holiday Concert.
Saturday, December 14th, 3:00pm.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1310 Shepherd Dr. Naperville.
FREE admission - donations accepted.
Light refreshments after the concert.

The New Horizons Band of DuPage will perform selections of Holiday favorites. The concert will include the New Horizons Concert Band, Brass Choir, German Band, Jazz Band and Woodwind Consort.
New Horizons consist of musicians from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs under the direction of Maryann Flock.

The New Horizons Music organization was founded in 1991 at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Its philosophy is that there is musical potential in every person at any age that can be developed and expressed to a personally rewarding level. The program has created opportunity for ensemble music participation for both new adult learners and for those who played music in school many years before. Members find many positive aspects of participating in the band, ranging from socialization to accomplishment to health benefits.
