Finally, a meetup for jazz musicians and jazz enthusiasts in Detroit and surrounding areas!
Some other forms of music may be represented here also (classical, some blues, and some latin-based music) but this group is designed mainly for jazzers.
Certain charities and/or charitable events may be represented here also, if they collaborate with some jazz group or groups.

2024 Jazz Fest performer, Wendell Harrison is an award winning jazz guru who is known all over the world as a world class jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, recording artist and a jazz entrepreneur. Born in Detroit he's performed with Motown stars Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and the legendary pianist and composer Harold McKinney. Jazz has led him to perform around the world from the Cotton Club, Detroit's Orchestra Hall and thru Europe and Africa, etc.
This is a paid event with tickets $45+. Doors open at 6pm with 2 sets:
