Happy Writing Hours is a weekly meetup for those who like to get their writing done at night. While drinking isn't required or even expected, Vennture sells both coffee and beer, so you can decide how happy you want to make your writing hours.

5:30-5:45: Arrive, get settled, say hello, order coffee/beer and a snack if you like. (Vennture's snack selection is small, but they do offer Cranky Al's pizza and sometimes we order one to share. If you're into beer, Vennture also offers really small pours. You can taste something new without getting drunk. Also, I love their lattes.)
5:45-7:45: Write and take breaks as needed
7:45-8:00: We break, chat, and say our goodbyes.

Finding your way and parking: Vennture is easy to find but parking can be more of a hassle. I've always found its easiest to park on one of the side residential streets and enjoy a little walk up to North Ave.

Rise and Write is a quick meetup for those who like to get their writing done in the early mornings.

8:30-8:45: Chit chat about writing and the usual small talk topics.

Finding your way and parking: Amaranth is right on Lisbon, somewhat hard to see, but once you do, street parking is available all along Lisbon. Amaranth opens up at 7:00am, so if you're a bit early, you may have to wait until they open their doors.

Easy Like a Writing Morning is a super unstructured meetup for those of us who feel a bit lazy on Sunday mornings, but still want to be productive with our writing.

The host will arrive between 9:00-9:15am and begin writing. Attendees can show up at any point. There's no such thing as being too late! We'll give you a quick hello and you can join us in writing.

At 11:45am we'll break and chat, do intros if we haven't already, chat about how the writing session went and what we're working on.

This event rolls into Just Write It On Sunday, allowing for a six hour writing session for those who'd like to attend both events start to finish, but you may come and go as you please, of course.

Just Edit is an open critique group welcome to writers of all levels that meets during the Spring and Fall. Our Fall session will run September 21st through December 21st and we'll be meeting bi-weekly, with the exception of Thanksgiving weekend.

If you'd like to join this critique group, please either just show up to meet folks and see how our sessions are run or attend one of our other meetups and ask the organizer how to get involved.

Writers are able to submit up to 15,000 words in advance of every meeting and the expectation is that members read in advance so they can provide a thoughtful critique during the meeting.
