Welcome to League City Photography
You have found the homepage of the League City Photography Meetup Group (LCPMG). If you love photography, you should love your involvement with us. We meet formally the first Thursday of every month at Rudy's BBQ on I-45 in Webster. But formal is not what we are about at all. This group loves to create wonderful images. We enjoy great company and we strive to learn to shoot new and beautiful images. You can see that we try to cover the broad area of art called photography. Since this is really a sociable network unlike the online networks you may be used to, please include a photo of yourself in your profile so we will know you when we meet in person.
Dues are $10 per year but meeting attendance is not required.
Please don't think that you need a fancy camera to enjoy the group. Our members take great shots with everything from Point and Shoot cameras to DSLR gear. Amateurs and pros are members, so don't be afraid to come visit us at one of the monthly meetings or at a shoot.
So that we all may enjoy having images posted here you have two choices. If you desire constructive critiques on your images, place them in the monthly Critique Album. If you post your image(s) here, others may give you open honest and respectful critiques of your work. If you would rather not be critiqued, just post in the month's regular album for all to enjoy. We have also added a monthly theme album as well.
Welcome to the most enjoyable photography group in the Bay Area. Let's have some fun. PLEASE NOTE, We do require that you put a photo of yourself as your profile image. We are very much a sociable group an need to be able to put a name with a face.
