Got a good turn out last year so thought I'd repeat the event this year for a short walk up Moel Famua for a cup of mulled wine and mince pie on the Jubilee Tower. I'll sort out the mulled wine, but looking for any budding bakers out there to bring some homemade mince pies (and try to keep them warm)!

You'll need to bring a torch, warm clothing, waterproofs etc. and **also don yourself or rucksack with sparkling Christmas lights, this is mandatory!**

Charge of £1 per person to defray Meetup site costs

This notice is to draw your attention to the fact that this group is organised on the basis of a group of friends who go out walking Or on various outdoor adventures together, who invite others to join them on this basis via the Meetup web site.

By signing up for a group event, you recognise that hill walking, climbing, mountaineering or any outdoor adventures are activities with a risk of personal injury or even death. Participants in group events should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own acts and involvement.

We do not employ qualified guides, leaders or first aiders on any of our events. Event organisers and event hosts assume no responsibility for anyone attending any group event. The Group, group organisers, event organisers and event hosts will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any Group event, or in connection with travel to such event, however caused.

When you join a walk or other event, whether or not you have signed up for it on the Meetup site, you indicate that you accept these conditions and recognise that no legal liability is accepted by the group, group organisers, event organisers or event hosts in the event of accident or injury, however caused.

Participants in group events are expected to take responsibility for assessing their own risk, the safety of themselves and their guests and to ensure that they are properly equipped and fit enough to participate in the event for which they have signed up. Every participant in a group event is expected to have a duty of care and respect for every other participant in that event.

While accepting no responsibility or liability for walks and other outdoor events, the event host or walk leader may, at their discretion, not admit you to join the walk or other event if in their opinion you are ill-equipped for the terrain and weather conditions.

Please note that the Group, group organisers, event organisers and event hosts are not covered by personal accident or liability insurance. If you are concerned about insurance, you should make your own arrangements for cover.
