Grand Canyon & Las Vegas

This trip too is in the planning stage. Dates and fees are approximate and subject to change. Final details will be posted later.

A few words about the Grand Canyon: If you have never been, it is huge, about 300 miles long, no way to see it all in a day or so.

We will be flying out to northern Arizona for the Grand Canyon and spending 1 or 2 nights at one of the lodges there. This will include a boat tour on the Colorado River, which runs thru the bottom of the Grand Canyon for magnificent close up views. If you prefer to see from the top of the canyon for an aerial view, there are day trips you can choose from, either from Arizona or Las Vegas.

From there we will go over to Las Vegas Nevada and spend 3-4 nights.
If you have never been to Vegas, there is a myriad of shows and performances of your favorite entertainers to attend, and a long strip of fabulous hotel resorts, many of which are a tourist attraction themselves with different themes, such as Paris, a medieval castle, Egyptian pyramid, etc. You can tour the Hoover Dam, a ghost town, and of course, casinos and gambling. After you've lost, or hopefully won, your money, we will head home.

I expect this to cost $1500-$2000.
