Lompoc is Running will be racing Chase Santa 5k

Join us at River Park for the exciting "Chasing Santa" 5K race, organized by the Lompoc Valley Distance Club!
If you're gearing up for the T-10 race, arrive an hour early (8:00 AM) to join us for a 6-mile warm-up run before the main event. We can’t wait to see you all there!
Here’s the official info from the Lompoc Valley Distance Club:
Santa Challenges ALL Runners
• Do you need an incentive to help you stay in shape between Thanksgiving and Christmas? Everyone can do a 5K, running
or walking. Come out for the 8th Chase Santa –Toys for Tots Run/Walk to be held on December 7, 2024.
• Santa will show up to encourage everybody running or walking 3.1 miles around the one mile fitness trail at River Park in Lompoc. The first five runners who beat Santa win a prize.
• There is also a kids run which is 4/10 mile along with awards too.
• The entry fee is $5 per person plus one new, unwrapped toy ($10+ value) per family for the Toys for Tots program in the Lompoc Valley. Registration is the day of the event, starting at 8 AM at River Park in Lompoc; the Chase starts at 9 AM.
