The Coves is an oxbow ,it separated from the Thames River over 200 yrs ago .This walk is as flat as a table .
The City of London spent 150000 dollars on this trail ;they put in a deck and small boardwalk .They also put up information signs/billboards providing the history of the Coves and the flora and fauna in the area .
Park at the German Canadian Club on the gravel section which is owned by London[the paved section is owned by the GCClub] ;the German Canadian Club is located at the end of Cove Rd
which runs West of Wharncliffe Rd.
