TNT & Power Hike
Details
The TNT club hosts trail workouts and there are 3-group levels to choose from. Whether it be blazing ultra-speed, jogging, or power hiking, you will get a good workout. The pace is typically faster than most other groups at Griffith Park. The Monthly Plan is below.
Notes - Week #1 & #2: Power hikers are welcome. The weeks are for anyone trying a TNT workout for the first time. There are 3-groups to choose from & you can join a group that matches your current endurance level.
The Groups: G1 - Ultra Runners, G2 - Advance Runners, G3 - Power Hikers
Please know that the group's purpose is do a trail workout. Although the club is a friendly, social group, if you prefer walking, chatting, & stopping to take pictures, then the TNT is not a good fit for you.
Recommend: headlight, water bottle, windbreaker (cold nights), dress according to the weather temperature.

Start gathering at 6:15pm** - Kicking dust at 6:30pm
**First time attendees, please arrive by 6:20pm
MONTHLY PLAN:
Week 1 - DYNAMITE LIGHT is considered intro to TNT workouts. All beginner runners & power hikers are welcome to join. Average: 5.5 to 6 miles, gain 1000' to 1300', steady ascend to the peak, & speed work.
Week 2 - TRAIL BLAZERS' DELIGHT more advance than week one. We prefer that you join us on Week #1 but beginner runners & power hikers are welcome. Average: 6 to 7.5 miles, 1200' to 1500' gain, & speed work.
Week 3 - BLAZE TO GLORY - advance trail run/jog. Your participation in week #1 or #2 is required. Average: 6.5 to 8 miles, gain 1400' to 1900', 1 to 3 steep climbs, & speed work.
Week 4 - Zoom-Zoom-Kaboom! Push the pace and cover as many miles in two hours. Average: 8 to 12 miles, gain 1500' to 2400', gain & speed work. Tonight is not for first timers; attending Week #1 or #2 is required.
Week 5 - The rare Week #5 - The Plan is TBD
