Singing Group in Hove
Details
The perfect chance to try this lovely local singing group that is usually attended by 12-20 people, led by Sue Fairhurst.
For anyone who likes to sing for pleasure – come and try for FREE – this welcoming group meets each Sunday, 5-6:30pm (usually £4 per person with hot drinks and biscuit break included).
There are no auditions, solos or awkward moments! All over 16's are welcome to attend. We celebrate all types of singers from people who have never been in a group or may be worried they can't make a nice sound (not true!), all the way through to the seasoned veterans of Brighton's choirs.
Pre-booking is not required and you're welcome to join us any week that you're available.
We sing music from around the world ranging from traditional to folk and spiritual to modern.
Sue Fairhurst has worked with a wide range of choirs, bands and orchestras. She is a former Music Director at Varndean and Brighton & Hove High School, and brings a lot of experience, warmth and fun to her sessions.
Sue says:
"My philosophy is that if you can talk you can sing. I believe that there are just a few simple steps to freeing up your natural voice, and my goal is to encourage people to do that. I help people to find their voice, to enjoy singing and discover the therapeutic benefits of singing in harmony as part of a supportive group."
Everyone is welcome - we hope to see you there!
Every week on Sunday
