Plan: We will hike 5-7 miles of the Haven Hill Natural Area trails at [url= http://www.dnr.state.mi.us/parksandtrails/Details.aspx?id=455&type=SPRK]Highland Rec Area[/url].

This will be at a moderate pace with breaks. From the main entrance on Highland Road, follow the signs for the Goose Meadow Picnic area, it should be the first right turn you come to. We will meet in the parking lot there and hope to start hiking by 2:15PM.

Cheeseburgers & Cheap Vodka: immediately following at Sparkies Bar and Grill (2868 E Highland Rd, Highland Township, MI)

Wear appropriate shoes/boots. Bring water if you want it, and sunscreen/bug spray depending on the conditions. Dogs are welcome on the trails on 6-foot leashes. You need a recreation passport to get into the park, and you can purchase one there for $11 if needed.
