What we’re about
This group is for anyone who is interested in recovering their basic sanity through mindfulness practices, with a primary focus on meditation. Anyone can join and everyone is welcome. There are weekly meditation classes and mindfulness practices, along with opportunities to explore Buddhism through in-person and online events offered through Lion's Roar Dharma Center.
You don't have to be Buddhist, religious, or even spiritually-minded to benefit from this group. We can help you develop a regular meditation practice that will alleviate anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief, and impediments to optimal well-being and health.
You do not have to RSVP to attend. Each of these events brings together members of the Lion's Roar Dharma Center and the broader Sacramento community, including us Meetup people.
