Loving Kindness and Mindfulness

Through contemplation and practice, we will touch our warm heart that is naturally saturated with love and compassion. This meditation session is focused on awakening our deep desire to be of benefit to ourselves, our loved ones, our community, and the world at large.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this meditation session. It's a pretty simple format. We talk briefly about the Buddhist concept of bodhicitta, then maybe share a pointer or some encouragement for the meditation, and then we sit for about 20-30 minutes and leave feeling inspired and relaxed.
You do not have to RSVP to attend. This event brings together members of the Lion's Roar Dharma Center and the broader Sacramento community, including us Meetup people. It's nice if you do RSVP, but it's not required. You can totally just show up and it's fine.
