Park at DAY USE PARKING LOT PAST THE VISITOR CENTER LOT- (GPS location)- also starting point. We will assemble and start at the parking lot. Follow the GPS pin under location.DETAILS
~10-mile loop trail near Pescadero, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 30 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.WHAT TO EXPECT
The first ~2.5 miles we will ascend ~800ft. Next ~2.5miles we will ascend another ~200ft. We will then descend the rest of the way back down to cars last 5 miles. Total ~10miles with ~1,700ft of elevation gain. Trail is about 3/5 shaded. May be some mosquitos in some parts- so bring bug repellent if they would bother you. It will be nice and sunny in the low 60s high with cooler temps at start- so pls bring your layers, hats, sunscreen, water.Details of the trail are available here

Santa Teresa County Park is located at the southern end of the Santa Teresa Hills. The park may be accessed from either Almaden Valley or Santa Clara Valley. From Santa Clara Valley, take US 101 or Highway 85 to the Bernal Road exit.
It has a few entrances to Santa Teresa park. The one we will hike on is located at 372 Manila drive , San Jose. It is in residential area.Hiking Difficulty - Moderate
Elevation --800-1000 ft
Distance-- 3.1 or 6 milesPARKING FREE -- Street Parking and A few Official parking spots
We will meet near Chicken Coop and the restroomWHAT TO EXPECT
The first 1 miles will be straight uphill about 700-800 elevation.
We can do longer or shorter depends on our preference . It is 3 miles Min. It can be extended to 5 --6 miles.
It will be 6-8 miles if we go to Coyote peak and loop back from Rocky Ridge trail.
