Synopsis:
Venice 1800. Sant Ignazio College, an old music institute for girls, is in an uproar: the brand new Pope is coming to visit.

Unexpectedly, one of the girls manages to surprise not only the Pope but the whole world, with a revolutionary kind of music that goes against all established systems. Gloria! tells the story of women breaking the glass-ceiling made up of traditions that hinder their creativity, freedom, and voices. A frequently nominated and award-winning film about women composers who have been forgotten or remained anonymous.
