Heart Lake - Stocking Lake Ladysmith

This is a beautiful , nicely wooded Trail with several locations to enjoy the Lakes as well as awesome views over Ladysmith.

We will begin on the Holland Creek Trail at the Methuen trailhead and take the stone stairs up to Heart Lake. We will go around the lake, across to Stocking Lake, circumventing that, and back down the back side of the Heart Lake Trail.

We may do this in less than 3 hours but wanted to be generous for nature appreciation.

This Trail has some steep sections with lots of roots and even some messy areas to get through. appropriate footwear and poles would be useful. We will travel at a moderate pace.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend.
