- Gilda - 4K Restoration, at Broadway NottinghamBroadway Cinema, 14-18 Broad Street, Nottingham
'A then-up-and-coming star, Gilda did more than any other role to solidify Rita Hayworth as a smouldering femme fatale of the noir genre. Here, she and co-star Glenn Ford find themselves locked in a twisty tale as two expats in Buenos Aires caught up in corruption, lust and organised crime.
"Directed by Charles Vidor, Gilda's sumptuous visuals and Hollywood classicism ensure it remains a supremely watchable work. But it is Hayworth igniting the screen that ensures it remains an iconic classic." – Cinema Rediscovered'

Two short films by Fred Glenister (50 mins) and Rachell Halaburda (15 min) will showcase the development, creation, and casting of this important artwork. Drama/Animation - Arc Live! Event Cinema
"A radical animated retelling of the holiday classic that starts with a Victorian performance of the Charles Dickens tale before diving into the imagination of one of the children in the audience, taking the story to a darker fantasy realm."
"We are delighted to be brining you a brand new made for cinema immersive adaptation of a classic family favourite. This will be a real treat for those who love Christmas entertainment, innovative cinema, contemporary dance and ballet or good old fashioned story telling! A Victorian family prepares a paper theatre for a performance of A Christmas Carol. The audience enters the imagination of one of the children and quickly, the cardboard stage transforms to reveal a magical world containing real dancers and stylised sets. The classic tale unfolds in a rich tapestry of highly absorbing, theatrical drama featuring sumptuous visual effects inspired by the techniques of early cinema. In a daring twist of format, characters are portrayed by dancers and voiced by an eclectic cast of the world’s most recognisable actors. The mix of danced action and spoken narration brings fresh dimension to Dickens’ characters and poetic language, whilst remaining true to the beauty of the author’s original narrative."
